What if I don’t know which meter I have?

Then “I don’t know” is a perfectly fine answer; the check works even if you don’t know every detail. You’ll get a more cautious indication and can have it confirmed by the provider later.

No, the result is an indication based on your answers, not a definitive commitment. The chosen provider ultimately confirms whether your charge point is suitable.

What do I need in order to take part?

In practice it comes down to verifiable charging data from a suitable meter and ownership or authorised use of the grid connection. The provider explains how you supply that data.

Does anything change in 2027?

From 2027 the integrated MID meter is expected to become the norm. More eligible charge points can increase the tradable volume.
