Chargers and ERE

ERE with an Ohme charger

Does your Ohme count for ERE?

Per model: counts, MID meter, source

Not every Ohme charger counts: only models with a built-in MID meter qualify for ERE. Check your model below.

In the Netherlands Ohme sells the Home Pro MID, its only charger with an integrated MID meter and therefore its only ERE-eligible model. The regular Home Pro, the ePod, the Home and the Go have no MID meter and cannot be converted.

The NEa rule

For home charging the MID meter must be built into the charger since 1 January 2026. A separate (external) MID meter does not count for private users; only businesses that already registered that way before 2026 have until 1 January 2027. Exception: a separate allocation point from the grid operator with only the charger behind it.

Which ERE providers work with Ohme?

Also via a manual export of your charging sessions, whatever the brand: Inboekdienst.nl, Den Hartog Charging, Groen-laden.nl, LaadCash

How to get your charging data out of your Ohme

According to Ohme, the Home Pro MID links automatically to a booking provider and forwards the MID-certified charging data. Charging sessions can also be exported as a report from the Ohme app. Ohme mentions OCPP (a 1.6 gateway) only for the Ohme Go, not for the Home Pro.

Ohme has its own Dutch page, 'ERE-certificaten & Ohme'. Only the Home Pro MID qualifies; the ePod and the non-MID Home Pro do not and cannot be retrofitted. Ohme lists Groendus, ERE-registratie.nl and Stekker as booking providers ('more providers coming soon'). Note: Ohme says a separate MID meter is still temporarily allowed in 2026. According to the NEa, that transition year applies only to companies that were already booking before 2026, not to private individuals.
