This privacy statement explains which personal data EREVergelijken.eu processes, why, and what rights you have.
What data we process
- Newsletter - if you sign up, we process your email address. We use a double opt-in: you first receive a confirmation email and we only add you after you confirm. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
- Contact - if you get in touch, we process the details you provide, solely to answer your question.
- Website use - with your consent we measure website use with Google Analytics and the effectiveness of ads with Google Ads. Without consent these are not loaded. See our cookie policy.
Legal basis and retention
We process data based on your consent (newsletter, analytics and advertising) or to handle your question (contact). We keep data no longer than necessary and delete your email address as soon as you unsubscribe.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. We use processors for email delivery and website statistics (including Google) who only process on our instructions. Outgoing links to providers may be referral links.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and objection, and you can withdraw your consent. Submit a request via the contact page. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

We may update this statement. The current version is always available on this page.

How does newsletter signup work?
The newsletter uses double opt-in: you confirm your signup via an email before we send anything. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every newsletter.
Do you use analytics?
We only use analytics if you give consent via the cookie banner. Without consent no analytics or marketing cookies are placed.
Do you sell my data?
No, we don’t sell your data. We only share what is necessary if you choose to proceed to a provider yourself.
What rights do I have over my data?
You can access, correct or delete your data and withdraw your consent. To do so, contact us via the contact page.
How long do you keep my data?
We keep data no longer than necessary for the purpose you provided it for, for example as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After that we delete or anonymise it.
