The help centre puts the card or key fob at about €9.95 including VAT (in an article about the UK subscription); the terms say the exact card price is shown at checkout. No monthly fee for pay as you go. The charge point operator sets the price per location, which can combine a kWh price, per-minute price, start fee and blocking or parking fees. Plugsurfing guarantees that the price shown in the app when you charge is the price you pay; all prices include VAT. Plugsurfing does not state a separate markup or session fee of its own. A pre-authorisation is placed on your payment card when you start (help centre example: €30).
Worked example
Extra cost per month on top of the charge point’s price at 100 kWh in 8 sessions at public chargers of €0.44 per kWh.
Cannot be worked out up front: this card charges its own price per charger, shown in the app.
