Chargers and ERE

ERE with a Vattenfall InCharge charger

Does your Vattenfall InCharge count for ERE?

Per model: counts, MID meter, source

Not every Vattenfall InCharge charger counts: only models with a built-in MID meter qualify for ERE. Check your model below.

Vattenfall sells two Autel chargers in the Netherlands. Only the MaxiCharger has a built-in MID meter and qualifies for ERE via Thuislaadcashback; the Compact does not. Existing InCharge customers usually have an MID-certified Alfen Eve, but it is not yet linked to Thuislaadcashback.

The NEa rule

For home charging the MID meter must be built into the charger since 1 January 2026. A separate (external) MID meter does not count for private users; only businesses that already registered that way before 2026 have until 1 January 2027. Exception: a separate allocation point from the grid operator with only the charger behind it.

How to get your charging data out of your Vattenfall InCharge

New Vattenfall chargers (Autel) run on the Vattenfall Laadabonnement (€6.95/month, 2 years). Sessions are shown in the personal online 'Laadomgeving' and the Energie app. For Thuislaadcashback, Vattenfall collects the sessions and EAN itself. Legacy InCharge chargers (Alfen Eve) run on the InCharge back office: sessions appear in My InCharge, and third parties such as Joulo can read them using the customer's InCharge login. Vattenfall does not mention a CSV export.

Vattenfall Thuislaadcashback (launched 23 February 2026): at least €0.05 per home-charged kWh for 2026, with profit sharing if ERE prices are higher (Vattenfall keeps 25% for costs). Paid out around June of the following year. Requirements: an Autel MaxiCharger with built-in MID meter, a Vattenfall charging subscription and electricity contract, the Energie app and a signed mandate. A separate MID meter does not count. InCharge Alfen Eve chargers are not yet eligible; migration is expected later in 2026.
