For business situations with an external meter there is currently a transition period. It ends on 1 January 2027.
What’s changing?
From 1 January 2027, constructions with a MID meter outside the charge point no longer count for ERE. Only an integrated MID meter inside the charge point remains suitable.
Who is this relevant for?
Mainly for situations that still use an external meter today. If you have a charge point without an integrated MID meter and want to keep ERE income, factor in replacement before the deadline.

- Plan any replacement in good time.
